On keeping lists

Every sorting app I've tried eventually turns into another thing to maintain, so I've gone back to a paper list on the back of an envelope, crossed out and rewritten as it fills up. It's slower, and I don't mind that.

The current one has eleven items on it, four of them crossed out, and one that just says "shelf?" which I no longer remember the context for. It will probably stay there until the envelope is full.
